The Alfa Romeo "La Flèche" debuts in Florence

In occasion of Stefano Ricci Heritage Trophy, the Lopresto Collection has brought in Florence two exceptional Alfa Romeo.

The event was chosen for the debut of the Alfa Romeo 1900C Super Sprint "La Flèche" Vignale, fresh from the restoration. A cabriolet with a short chassis deisgned by Giovanni Michelotti is a unique car presented at the Salone di Torino in 1955. The car shows the typical style of the designer from Turin, with rich chromed decorations and refined shapes. 

The car has always stayed in Italy, is remembered for the guest appearance in the movie "Sapore di mare 2" and "Giovanni Senza pensieri" in the 80s. Together with "la Flèche" was present the very elegant Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Berlinetta Touring of 1939.

The even, took place in the elegant Palazzo Pitti, there were 40 interesting cars, to contend for the prizes Best of Elegance and Best of Sport. The winner were the Lancia Astura Cabriolet and a Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta, both bodyworked by Pinin Farina.
