1935 Lancia Augusta Farina

Chassis number: 34-3028

Unique model designed by Mario Revelli Beaumont, this coupe was bodied by Stabilimenti Farina for Countess Carla Centenari Viscardi from Como on the small Augusta Type 234 chassis, at the time the smallest Lancia model. As was the custom at the time, the initials of the noble owner (C.C.V.) were drawn on the doors, where they are still present today.

Remaining with the same owner for over forty years, the car was impeccably preserved, and in 1976 it was sold to the Tavoletti museum. With Tavoletti the Augusta participated in the 1996 Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance and earned a well deserved award for best preserved car: Automobile Quarterly Trophy.

In 2013, the car became part of the Lopresto Collection, still in exceptional preservation conditions that didn’t require any restoration work. Even the original plate, CO 22796, is still in place. Among the luxurious optional of this car are noticed the rear view mirror with integrated clock, boxes for liquors and perfumes, the windows deflectors (a Revelli patent), the defroster and the curtains.
